Q: Why do I get disconnected from the server after I have been on for quite a while?
A:
- If you are inactive/idle for 30 minutes, the connection will close.
- If you are disconnected while uploading a file or playing a game over the Internet (i.e. Quake), you may need to change your modem initialization string to help your connection.
- If you have call waiting and have not turned it off, you will be disconnected when someone tries to call you. Disable it by putting *70, in front of the phone number you dial.
